World Heart Federation
The World Heart Federation is an international nongovernmental organization, dedicated to the prevention and control of cardiovascular disease around the world. It is a membership organization that brings together the strength of the medical community with the public health community.
The World Heart Federation and its membership network have become involved in the formation of a platform for youth activism in health. The network was initiated at the First Global Youth Meet on Health (GYM 2006) held in India.
